Programmes and Activities
CBN has a variety of programmes that aim to help inspire and equip working adults as they strive to live their Christian faith at the workplace. All our events are open to all creeds, believers and non-believers alike.
Hear prominent Catholics share their faith journey, how they live their lives at the workplace, how their faith has guided their decisions and choices, etc.
Through these candid sharings, we hope you will hear God speaking to you, touching you, inspiring you, enlightening you, and helping you in your personal journey to be a better Christian.
There are about 5 or 6 talks a year. There is no charge for attending, but love offerings are welcome to help defray costs of the venue and the simple meal provided (for physically-held sessions) or production costs (for online sessions).
The CBN organises occasional leadership growth programmes to help us become good and effective Christian leaders.
Through lectures, role-playing and group discussions, these sessions aim to help equip us with the skills and put out Christian values into practice.
In 2019, the Leadership Growth Series was run over four sessions by experienced corporate trainer and active servant of God Andrew Soong.
CBN is planning to launch a new Leadership Program in 2021.
The Christ@Work conference is biannual conference where Christians and non-believers alike are invited to join distinguished speakers as well as fellow working adults to discuss current issues relating to our Catholic Faith to the workplace.
The first Christ-Work conference was inaugurated in 2005 and has been held every 2 years since.
The full-day conference features keynote speakers and panel sessions, and typically closes with a mass.
Look out for the next Christ@Work conference in 2021.
Each year, CBN organises a Lenten retreat where retreatants are invited to listen and reflect as we approach Holy Week. Retreats are typically ¾ day.

Sessions aim to help clients think through the kind of job and role suitable for them. At each session, the client will meet with a volunteer career counsellor, who possess qualifications in the field of career counselling.
There is no job placement service provided.
Sessions are held online and may last for about 1 hour. Follow-up sessions may be arranged upon request.
CBN Connect is a networking event to bring together working adults from similar industries. Each session features a specific sector, and opens with 2 or 3 sharings by business leaders from the sector, with participants then having a chance to get to know one another in smaller breakout groups.
