Andrew Soong
Andrew has been a Catholic for more than 50 years, but it took only 6 days at a retreat in Sabah more than 20 years ago, for him to encounter Jesus in the scriptures in a very special and personal way. That retreat changed his life and gave him a new perspective of how Jesus lead His disciples. He loved them, cared for them, taught them, empowered them and served them, even though He was the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus’ example of being a servant king, showed him how he should lead his family and his team during his time as a regional sales leader in a US multinational corporation. Now that he is a full-time trainer and speaker, he continues to advocate the practice of servant leadership for Ministry leaders and even for Corporate leaders.

Simon Cheong
Child of God, husband and father of 3 kids. Simon’s conversion story begins slightly more than 10 years ago when he encountered great difficulties at work and his family life. At that time, he was too preoccupied with his career, material pleasures and success and had very little concern or time for God. These challenges caused him great mental distress and forced him to think about what is important in life and the decisions he made. He made a conscious decision to surrender to God and His will. This decision has had a profound impact on his life. He started to try and live as a disciple of Christ, learning more about the faith, and also started serving the Church in different ways and capacities. He is currently Group Director, Legal of the National University Health System, which manages Western public health in Singapore.
